Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethanol to acetaldehydenext term and ethyl acetate by graphite nanofibers

Description:

This is a possible catalyst for the ethanol to acetaldehyde reaction path.  The major byproduct given is ethyl acetate.  It may just be the catalyst, but esterification usually occurs under very acidic conditions.

Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethanol to acetaldehyde on V2O5/TiO2-SiO2 catalysts obtained by grafting vanadium and titanium alkoxides on silica

Description:

This is a possible catalyst for the ethanol to acetaldehyde reaction path.  Vanadium oxide is an active and selective catalyst for oxidative dehydration of ethanol to acetaldehyde.
